A German group of companies from Saarbrücken, specialising in mining and rock construction, tunnel and gallery building, special underground works (Spezialtiefbau) and drilling. The company carries out driving and reconstruction of galleries, shafts and tunnels, anchoring and shotcreting, blasting and grouting works, piling and anchoring, and securing of excavations and rock slopes. Several lines of activity provide work all year round. About the role: We are looking for experienced all-round miners for underground work: driving and reconstruction of galleries and drifts, support works (steel, concrete, timber), anchoring and shotcreting, grouting and blasting works, installation and removal of equipment, backfilling. This is work for people with real construction experience who can do many things with their hands. Work mode: Mon–Fri, weekends usually free. Trips — max 4 nights away, within ~300 km; accommodation in hotels/apartments paid by the company, travel by company car. On trips to remote sites the company pays for accommodation there • Travel to Germany at the start is at the candidate's expense • If you have not worked in Germany before, you need to apply for a tax number (Steuernummer) — this takes at least 3 months; during that period tax is withheld at class 6, and once you have the number the overpayment is refunded • We are looking for people for the long term, ready to relocate permanently; we do not consider those who want to stay only a few months
